Dobropark is bursting with color: a look back at the opening of the 2026 tulip season

On Sunday, April 19, Dobropark hosted the opening of the 2026 tulip season, marking the official start of the park’s new floral year. The event brought together music, art, and spring blooms, creating a special atmosphere among the tulip fields.

The festive program kicked off with an instrumental performance by the band Yellow Shoes. The musicians took their places right in the center of the tulip hills, so their performance was clearly visible and audible from various parts of the main field. The musical portion concluded with a colorful show that took place right among the rows of tulips. Bright colors—yellow, blue, red, white, orange, green, pink, and purple—instantly filled the air with vibrant hues.

The performance by legendary Ukrainian composer and virtuoso pianist Yevhen Khmara came as a real surprise to the audience. His piano playing, combined with the picturesque scenery, created a special atmosphere of tranquility and inspiration.

The program continued in collaboration with Yulia Slobodyanyuk, a Ukrainian reciter of contemporary poetry. Her poignant poetry reading, accompanied by the maestro, left no one unmoved. The highlight came when the artists, together with the park’s guests, performed the legendary “Chervona Ruta” in unison, which has become a symbol of unity and love for Ukrainian culture.

Ihor Dobrutskyi, the founder of Dobropark, also addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, officially congratulating the guests on the start of the 2026 flower season.

The weather was perfect for a relaxing day out: visitors were able to enjoy the early blooms of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and muscari, stroll along the flower-lined paths, spend time in the pine grove, and take vibrant photos against the backdrop of the spring scenery.

As usual, there were free activities for the little ones: the “Cosmos” play area, a miniature train, and trampolines. A nice bonus this season is that, starting now, young guests can get free festive face painting every weekend.

Dobropark continues to surprise visitors with new attractions set to open in the near future:

1. Dobrodvir: a unique space for interacting with farm animals, where both children and adults can learn more about agriculture and enjoy the positive experience of interacting with animals.
2. Fishing Lake: Ukraine’s first location for sport fishing, stocked with American bass. This is a unique opportunity for sport fishermen to test their skills in catching this active fish.
