Winter in Dobropark: 400 Kilometers of Garlands and Fifty Photo Zones

Less than a week remains until Saint Nicholas Day and the opening of “Winter Outside the City 2025” in Dobropark! It’s time to slightly lift the curtain on the New Year’s town and tell you what will be waiting for you very soon!

The town will be open every day from December 6 through January 19 inclusive. Opening hours are from 16:00 to 22:00. Guests of the park will be welcomed by bright installations — two 10-meter-tall angels and the largest walk-through illuminated sphere in Ukraine, with a diameter of 10 meters. It will be located in the parking area near the Zhytomyr Highway and will serve as the first photo zone for visitors. The angels will greet you near the park ticket offices, where you will also find the first Christmas tree.

Yes, there will be plenty of Christmas trees this year! We have assembled an entire collection of large Christmas trees, with heights ranging from 10 to 18 meters. Each of them is decorated in a different theme and color scheme. The trees will be located throughout Dobropark. You will be able to find each one using a guide that you will receive at the ticket office along with your tickets.

You will encounter the first one in the hornbeam arch — the Crystal Christmas Tree. It is 12 meters tall and decorated with more than a hundred small crystals, while the garlands glow with a cool white light.

The next tree you will see in its familiar location is the Main Christmas Tree of Dobropark. It is 18 meters tall and will be decorated with illuminated scenes in the shape of New Year attributes — candies, snowflakes, reindeer, ornaments, and much more.

The third and tallest Christmas tree in Dobropark, standing 10 meters high, is located in the middle of the New Year’s town near the Dobrochar Residence on the park’s central square. It is decorated with red-orange garlands and red-and-gold ornaments.

As you walk deeper into the park, surrounded by complete darkness, you will discover two magical tunnels. The first will greet you in golden tones, while the second will resemble a true “Starry Sky.” The uniqueness of this installation lies in the length and color of the garlands. The total length of the sky, in a blue shade with a cold flashing effect, will be 100 meters. There are no garlands of this color in Ukraine — it is a unique color developed специально for Dobropark.

The boxwood valley and lavender fields will highlight their unusual landscape forms with garlands in yellow, white, pink, and green colors. The total length of all garlands used throughout the park exceeds 400 kilometers. An interesting fact is that almost all of the illumination, decor, and structures used are assets from previous years, reimagined by our designers into new, exciting, and truly incredible installations that have never existed before.

A completely new location will be the central square of Dobropark! This is where the New Year’s town and the Dobrochar Residence will be located — home to a kind wizard who will be delighted to welcome all the children visiting Dobropark!

Around the Residence, there are 14 fairytale market houses, some of which will offer souvenir products, treats, and mulled wine. Others will serve as unique photo zones. Behind the houses, you will find two endless magical tunnels.

The first tunnel is covered from bottom to top with small Christmas trees and garlands. Yes, all the way to the top — please note that above your head there will be countless Christmas trees and candies! This sweet beauty flows into the second magical tunnel, where you will be able to discover enchanting forest inhabitants — bunnies, birds, and other woodland creatures.

Overall, the park features a festive market town, up to fifty New Year photo zones, numerous new installations, and locations that you loved so much last year. Therefore, a journey into the fairytale world of Dobropark will begin very soon!

This year, the ticket price is 400 UAH for adults, while children’s and discounted tickets cost 300 UAH. We remind you that tickets can be purchased online on our website or at the park ticket offices. Please note that discounted tickets can only be purchased in person at the park ticket offices and you must have documents confirming eligibility for the discount.
