Dobropark in August: Hydrangeas, Lakes and Entertainment for the Whole Family

The second month of summer is coming to an end, and with it the Lavender Season in Dobropark. However, starting next week, fragrant lavender will be replaced by the season of lush and elegant hydrangea.

In preparation for the season, the park team improved the locations that our visitors have already loved so much – Hydrangea Valley (Hydrangea River), “Love is…”, and “Green Labyrinth”. The most delicate flower season will last from July 29 to September 1.

Every year we update our flower collection with new varieties. In the 2023 season we added more than 30 varieties, among which were Phantom, Skyfall, Limelight, Polar Bear, Kyushu, Fraise Melba, Vanilla Fraise, Wim’s Red and Sundae Fraise. The palette of flowers varies from bright light green to delicate white, pink and exquisite red shades. This year’s pearl was the Macrophylla broad-leaved hydrangea, the uniqueness of which is the change in the color of the inflorescence depending on the acidity of the soil.

During Hydrangea Season, visitors will also be able to enjoy the beauty of Monet Lake, home to over 300 Nymphaea water lily bushes. A whole field of Perovski will be very similar to lavender, as well as a collection of perennial herbs and cereals. On the territory of the park, you will find thematic photo zones, none of which will leave you indifferent.

This summer season, we have opened a swimming lake, which is included in the price of the entrance ticket and will definitely save you from the heat. The beach also has a pier, relaxation areas, water football and a volleyball area.

The price of the ticket also includes unlimited children’s entertainment – a tubing slide, a raft crossing, trampolines, trolleys, swings, a play complex and an area for creativity.
